I was born into a culture that fears its own body. A country that sells sex in every advertisement, yet condemns honest intimacy. A society that commodifies desire in shadow markets, while pretending the sacred act of love is obscene. That hypocrisy ends here.

I am Steven Leake, poet, author, DIY folk-rocker, libertarian agitator, counterculture philosopher. I carry the word LOVE tattooed across my back, its V formed by two syringes, because I am addicted to truth, to intimacy, to connection that cannot be manufactured or bought. I am The Love Junkie.

This is my rebellion. Not with a gun, not with a vote, but with my body and my truth. My art is not designed to titillate the hollow appetite of a broken industry. My art is designed to heal, to educate, to liberate.

I believe intimacy is a sacred act.

When two sovereign souls meet in passion — bound not by coercion or shame, but by choice, respect, and joy — they honor not only themselves, but the God who gave them breath. To touch, to kiss, is to participate in creation itself. This is worship. This is rebellion. This is freedom.

I believe sex must be reclaimed from exploitation.

Pornography as we know it is a mirror of capitalism at its ugliest: profit above people, spectacle above substance, exploitation disguised as entertainment. I refuse that model. I choose transparency, consent, fairness, health, and dignity. Every performer in this movement is not a commodity, but a co-owner, a sovereign individual with benefits, protections, and equity.

I believe in the right to love freely.

The State has no place in the bedroom. Church dogma has no authority over the bonds of flesh and spirit between consenting adults. To love — man to woman, woman to woman, man to man, soul to soul — is not only our right, it is our birthright. Love is liberty embodied.

I believe in marriage renewed.

This is not about fleeting encounters. This is about strengthening the union of committed lovers, giving couples new eyes, new breath, new rituals of passion. Through tantra, through mindfulness, through celebration of the physical body, we rediscover marriage not as contract, but as covenant — a covenant made alive through intimacy.

I believe in counterculture courage.

Every empire censors its poets first, then its lovers. By standing here, unapologetically naked, unashamed in my joy, I am carrying forward the torch of every rebel who refused to kneel to conformity. From Ginsberg to Hendrix, from Emma Goldman to Timothy Leary, from punk squats to crypto hackers — I am adding my verse to that long, defiant song of American counterculture.

And this is my verse:

That sex can be ethical.

That desire can be sacred.

That love can be sovereign.

That art can heal.

That freedom can live again in the body.

This is more than performance. It is activism. It is education. It is art. It is worship. It is my offering to God, to my fellow sovereigns, to the culture I was born to disrupt.
